Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV (with Downloader)

1. Install the Downloader app on the TV from the Google Play Store (Amazon Appstore on Fire TV).
2. Allow Downloader to install unknown apps:
   • Android TV / Google TV: Settings → System (or Device Preferences) → Security & restrictions → Unknown sources → Downloader: On.
   • Fire TV: Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps → Downloader: On.
3. Open Downloader, type the address guideplayer.dad/dl/tv.apk into the address box and press Go.
4. When the download finishes, press Install. If an "unrecognised app" warning appears, choose Install anyway.
5. Afterwards you can remove the APK file with Downloader's Delete button; the app stays installed.

Android phone and tablet

1. Open this page on the phone and tap Download APK above.
2. Open the downloaded file. If the browser asks, turn on Allow from this source and go back.
3. Tap Install.

Updates

When a new version is out, the app tells you at launch. On the TV just choose Update now; on the phone the new APK downloads and you open it to install. Your lists and settings are kept.
